We consider non-symmetric real Toeplitz matrices
generated by Laurent polynomials of the form

a(t) = a₋₁t⁻¹ + a₀t⁰ + a₂t².

Choose the coefficients:

The image of the symbol is shown by a black curve.

The Schmidt and Spitzer set consists of three red segments.

The eigenvalues correspond to the Toeplitz matrix T_n(a).
